The Founder

Hi, I'm Kirsten.

Kiry's Corner started the way most good collections do — one piece at a time. A weekend estate sale, a thrift-store shelf, a moving sale sign at the end of someone's driveway. I kept bringing things home that were too well made, too characterful, or just too beautiful to pass up, and eventually I had more of them than my own house could hold.

That's Kiry's Corner: the pieces I couldn't leave behind, found a new home with people who'll love them the way I did.

How We Source

Estate sales, thrift shops, and finds from the road

Every item at Kiry's Corner is sourced in person — from estate sales, thrift and resale shops, classifieds, and moving sales close to home, to finds from trips across the country and abroad, plus pieces from my personal collection. I look for craftsmanship, condition, and pieces with a design point of view: mid-century lighting, hand-carved wood, vintage glassware, and decor with real character.

Because everything is sourced this way, nothing is restocked identically. What you see is what exists — one piece, one home.

What We Look For

The short list every piece gets measured against before it earns a spot in the shop.

Craftsmanship

Solid materials and construction that was built to last, not to be replaced.

Character

Patina, maker's marks, and small imperfections that tell you it has history.

Honest Condition

Every flaw is disclosed up front — photographed, measured, and described as-is.

Every item, on video

Each piece is filmed and narrated at intake — era, materials, and story — so you know exactly what you're bringing home before it arrives. Watch the walkthrough on any product page.
